Interior Painting on the Maryland & Delaware coast

Painter Tony brings crisp lines, even coverage and a careful, clean crew into homes from Ocean City to Rehoboth Beach, so every room looks finished the way you pictured it.

Prep work that keeps your home clean while the job is underway

Before a can is opened, floors are covered, furniture is moved or wrapped, and edges are masked. The photos on this site show the same thing every time: rosin paper and drop cloths taped down wall to wall, with nothing left exposed.

You still live in your home while it is being painted, so the plan is built around keeping your space usable and protected.

Wall repair before the color goes on

Paint shows everything underneath it. Nail pops, cracks, dents and old patches get filled, sanded smooth and primed first, so the finish coat reads as one even surface instead of a map of past repairs.

Larger wall restoration, like damaged drywall or rough previous patch work, is handled as part of the same project.

High ceilings and open great rooms on the coast

Many homes near the beaches have two-story great rooms, lofts and vaulted ceilings. Tony works from scaffolding and staging rather than overreaching from a ladder, which is safer for your home and gives a steadier hand on long ceiling lines.

The curved shiplap ceiling and loft projects in the gallery are good examples of the kind of height and detail this involves.

Paint that stands up to sand, humidity and summer guests

Beach houses take a beating from damp air, sandy feet and a steady rotation of family and renters. Tony can recommend scrubbable finishes like Fine Paints of Europe Eurolux, a low-VOC, very low-odor wall paint built to be wiped down.

Low-VOC and zero-VOC options are available for any room if you are sensitive to paint smell.

From a interior painting client

  • “Painter Tony and team were very professional and cordial doing the entire job! The attention to detail was amazing and quality above standard. … There were many cracks in our 17’ ceilings, which were properly fixed and drywalled perfectly. … We just had new floors installed and the team took extra steps to completely protect them! Would highly recommend this company.”

FAQ

Interior Painting questions

Do I need to move my furniture before you start?

No. Furniture is moved to the center of the room or out of the way and covered, and floors are protected with paper and drop cloths taped edge to edge. If you have fragile pieces, artwork or electronics you would rather handle yourself, mention it during the estimate and the plan will work around them.

Can I stay in my home while the inside is being painted?

Yes, most homeowners do. Work is organized room by room so you still have usable space, and floors and furniture stay covered while work is underway. If odor is a concern, low-VOC and zero-VOC paints are available, and Fine Paints of Europe Eurolux is a very low-odor option for walls.

Will you fix the dings and cracks in my walls first?

Yes. Drywall patching is part of interior work, not an upsell. Holes, cracks, nail pops and dents are filled, sanded and primed before any finish coat, because paint makes every flaw underneath it easier to see.

Can you paint very tall walls and vaulted ceilings?

Yes. Two-story great rooms, lofts and vaulted or curved ceilings are common in homes around Ocean City and the Delaware beaches, and Tony sets up scaffolding to reach them safely. You can see a curved shiplap ceiling and several open lofts in the project gallery.

What paint do you use inside?

That depends on the room and your budget. Tony is a Fine Paints of Europe certified painter and often recommends their Dutch-made paints where finish quality matters most, but Tony also works with other premium brands. You will know exactly which product and sheen is going on each surface before work starts.
